Note: Verizon’s Droid RAZR M, Droid RAZR HD and Droid RAZR Maxx HD, besides being able to work with LTE and CDMA network, these phones is also a GSM unlocked devices. So you still can use it even when you are traveling out of the country, such as to Europe or to Asia by using a local micro SIM Card that is available in the destination country to make phone calls, texting or browsing the internet. If you take any Verizon phone out of the United States you will pay roaming charges that is quite expensive, ranging from 69 cents to $2.89 per minute, depending on where you make a call. However, if you’re planning to purchase this device and then want to use any GSM provider in the U.S. such as T-Mobile or AT&T you will be disappointed, because it seems Verizon Wireless has locked the ability to use the smartphone with U.S. GSM carriers.
